The House
Two workshops. One hundred and sixty hands.
Lanea di Biella was founded in 2011 with a single idea: that the finest made-to-measure should be available to brands and tailors who could never build an atelier of their own. We became the workshop behind their names.
Cut, fused, basted, finished — by hand.
No part of a Lanea di Biella jacket is rushed through a press. Canvas is floated, not glued. Lapels are pad-stitched by hand. The result is a garment that moves with the body and holds its line for years — the quiet difference clients feel before they can name it.
Woven in Biella.
Every cloth begins in the mills of Biella, the wool capital of the Italian Alps. We work with 33 certified mills — Vitale Barberis Canonico, Ermenegildo Zegna, Loro Piana and more — so the fabric story behind your label is as serious as the tailoring.
